Five Boroughs Brewing
Five Boroughs Brewing is exactly what you want in a Brooklyn brewery– dog-friendly, big open space, board games available, delicious beer and a great crowd. The flights make it very easy to try all their beers. They do not serve their own food, but they strongly encourage bringing in outside food, especially from their neighbors. Great spot to grab a few beers and hang out with friends.

Threes Brewing
Threes Brewing is a great neighborhood brewery. Not only do they carry their own beers, but they carry beers from other local brewers, as well as wine and liquor. They do serve food and they also have a coffee bar upstairs as well as outdoor seating on their patio. The beer is delicious and very affordable, which is unique in Brooklyn. Threes Brewing also accommodates private events in their upstairs area, which is a nice touch. It can get extremely crowded at times but even at its busiest the service is fast and friendly.

Other Half Brewing can get very crowded and very loud, but that’s because it’s a brewery everyone needs to check out. While they are known for their strong IPAs, they have a diverse list of beers that makes the small pours an attractive option so you can try as many as possible. Kings County Brewers Collective
Kings County Brewers is an excellent place to enjoy a cold one with some good company. The taproom open most days of the week, and there’s more than enough event space for a private organized event. As part of their collective and giving back, Kings County offers a “Local Talent Tap,” which is brewed on their pilot system within the local community. Bringing your own food is never frowned upon here, so grab your local favorite bite to eat and maybe try the new Local Talent Tap of the month.

The Brooklyn Brewery
Known as one of the original craft breweries in the US, The Brooklyn Brewery is a hip place that is only open to the public on the weekends, offering free tours during this time as well. A unique way to buy your beers is their token system, which you purchase near the front of the brewery, 1 token, usually $5, for 1 beer. With a limited selection of snacks available, guests are encouraged to order delivery from a neighborhood favorite or bring in their own food.
