Aside from being unique, Denver’s breweries are some of the most respected establishments in the country, which is why we are excited to bring you our top five breweries in Denver in no particular order:

Lowdown Brewery is known as the neighborhood brewpub. They consider themselves a restaurant first, which is hard to find in today’s brewery market, but definitely a unique way to make our list. With a full service menu of local and organic food, which does change seasonally, mixed with their full bar menu, this is a great brewery to visit for lunch or dinner while in Denver.

Baere Brewing Company

Open Tuesday through Sunday, Baere Brewing Company is a small taproom located in a stripmall. With a very limited menu, Baere lets you bring in food from the outside so they can focus on providing you with the many beers listed on their menu. A patio to enjoy your food and beer, Baere is a place to sit back and enjoy a cold one.

Copper Kettle Brewing Company

Copper Kettle Brewing Company considers themselves a mom and pop brewery, which to us means family friendly atmosphere. With two separate event spaces to host parties, a patio for your furry friends, and welcoming children of all ages, Copper Kettle has it all– except for a kitchen. While they do not have scheduled daily tours, to us here at BreweryCheck, we still believe this place is worthy of our Best of Denver list.

Located in the RiNo Art District in Denver, Black Shirt Brewing Company is one of the most well known breweries around town. With a theme focused on music, particularly Johnny Cash, there are many reasons to stop by for a delicious pizza and local brew. Furry friends are also welcomed on the patio and in the beer garden while you relax and listen to local music on their outdoor stage.

Epic Brewing Company

Epic Brewing Company started in Utah, but expanded into the competitive brewery market in Denver. Opened seven days a week and offering four tours of the facilities Friday through Sunday, Epic offers around 25 different taps that you can enjoy in their taproom or out on their patio. With food trucks or the ability to bring your own food, enjoy their wide variety of beers and don’t be shy to ask one of the bartenders more about each beer to learn more.
