Blackstone Brewing Company was first started in 1994 and almost 14 years later is still one of the “go-to” breweries in Nashville. Not many food options, so don’t arrive too hungry, however they have a delicious food truck on-site for a bite to eat. But they definitely have you covered in terms of beer– 16+ beers on tap, build-your-own sampler flights and growlers-to-go will keep everyone happy.

Fat Bottom Brewing Company
Low-key vibe, very light food selection, but the beer is incredible. Fat Bottom boasts a huge indoor seating area as well as outdoor patio with dog bowls and outdoor games. They do offer tours, and it’s best to schedule them in advance. The space is also great for large catered events as well.

Jackalope Brewing Company
Putting Jackalope Brewing Company on the list was a no-brainer due to the unique atmosphere and the sheer number of events and activities. And the delicious beer selection. Open 7-days a week, this brewery has trivia night, food trucks and live music. Don’t want to leave your dog at home? Bring your furry friend with you to hang out on their patio. Be sure to reserve your tours as they offer them exclusively on Friday and Saturday. The brewery itself is very small and they share a space with a coffee shop, which is cool. Definitely a must-see.

Tennessee Brew Works takes the title of one of the most eco-friendly breweries in the country, as well as one of the “chillest” in Nashville. Quickly grew into a local favorite, Tennessee Brew Works has a full food menu to pair with some of their outstanding beers. Open 7-days a week, this laid back brewery is a great stop in the Music City to grab dinner and beer.
